Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has bedrooms peeled from the pages of Disney and Disney·Pixar stories. Plus, it boasts Walt Disney World Resort’s largest pool. This place has been designed with four movies in mind – Disney’s The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, and Disney·Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Cars. Each comes with its own themed courtyard. Look out for oversized Character models, like Timon and Pumbaa, and a 35-foot-tall King Triton dotted around the place. Inside, bedrooms are decorated to make you feel like you’re right in the movies.

POOL
The Finding Nemo-inspired Big Blue Pool is the biggest hotel pool in the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s surrounded by giant statues of Nemo, Dory and friends.Traffic cone-shaped cabanas edge the Cozy Cone Pool, named after the motel in the film, Cars. Sebastian the crab, meanwhile, orchestrates proceedings at the Flippin’ Fins Pool.

The hotel is set into 4 courtyards, and 3 of them have pools - Cars, Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo sections. The latter even has its own pool bar that serves up snacks and drinks. You’ll get free standard parking at all the Disney Parks, but there’s a fee for standard overnight parking at your Disney Resort hotel.

Please note: Things to know before you go to Walt Disney World Resort: 1. From May 1st 2019, All Walt Disney World Parks will become Smoke-Free. Designated smoking areas will be available outside of the parks. This includes the water parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. 2. From May 1st 2019, strollers/prams/buggies must be 31" wide and 52" long or smaller. 3. As a reminder, wagons are not permitted in our parks. All guests must reserve their Theme Park entry in advance for all dates up to and including September 26 2021 using this system. Use your TUI booking reference number and lead passenger name to link the ticket to your profile, and check for the date and Theme Park you wish to visit. The US Department of Homeland Security has separate enhanced security screening procedures in place for all commercial flights to the US. This means that customers travelling to the USA may be subject to questioning by security staff at check-in. As a result of this, we are unfortunately unable to offer day before check-in for TUI Airways flights at Birmingham, Gatwick and Manchester airports for any customers travelling to Sanford, Florida. We have, however, organised dedicated check in areas which will open a minimum of three hours prior to departure for these flights at these airports. Entry, passport and visa requirements apply.
