Shanghai Disneyland unveils a sneak peek look at their new night spectacular premiering on April 8th: ILLUMINATE!
The new nightime spectacular show, ILLUMINATE!, is designed to make you feel like the whole park is enchanted by the lights.
91 lighting devices installed through 15 new slots in the park. 27 LED lights, over 40 fountains, 27 fire burst slots and six lasers will be combined to create this incredible immersive effect.
The synchronized lighting of Dumbo The Flying Elephant and the Fantasia carousel along with the parade route will also be used to strengthen the experience.
The show will feature over 80 characters from over 40 movies, including those from the latest hit “Soul” and “Raya and the Last Dragon”, looking for the light that sleeps in them.
A new musical composition specially created for this night show, entitled “Light is in You”, will provide a nostalgic backdrop.
For the first time every on a Disney castle, Marvel’s Super Heroes will gather as part of a night show.

You find the flame inside you to spark a better future, echoing the scenes of “Rebelle”, “Aladdin”, “Big Hero 6” and more.
Before adversity fell, to try to hide the light, as was the case for Mulan, Miguel of “Coco”, Simba of “Lion King” and so many other characters.
You will then be inspired to break the darkness and see the light, before coming out of adversity alongside Buzz and Woody of “Toy Story”, Joy and Sadness of “Vice Versa”, Rapunzel, Elsa , Anna and Olaf from “The Snow Queen” and many more.
In a touching conclusion, Judy from “Zootopia”, Elsa from “The Snow Queen”, Vaiana and many others will deliver a message of perseverance, encouraging you to hold on to the light that exists in each one us and trust him to help them get through this.
