RUMOR: Disneyland Paris Replacing Free FastPass Service with Paid “Disney Premier Access”

According to sources, Disneyland Paris will be discontinuing free FastPasses in August.

Guests will now need to pay for a digital FastPass replacement. The new system will be called “Disney Premier Access” or DPA. This is also what the service is called at Shanghai Disney Resort.

Sources indicate that Disney Premier Access will launch with eight attractions. Guests will purchase DPA passes through the Disneyland Paris app. Guests must enter the park with valid admission before the Premier Access passes can be purchased.

Disney Premier Access is set to launch at Disneyland Paris in August. A formal announcement of the new service is expected very soon.

It seems likely that the same service will launch at Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort in the not-too-distant future as well.
