How to visit all Disney Asia parks and book dining for each resort:
Knowing different dining options available in all Disney Asia parks is beneficial. This involves understanding both table service and quick service options, which you can do through the official resort app. Then, on daily basis, consider where you want to eat. Advance reservations may be required at some places while others are quick service places where you line up and wait.
– Tokyo Disney Resort opens reservations 30 days ahead of your preferred dining date, through the official app.
– At Hong Kong Disneyland, dial +852 3550-3388 for guest services.
– Use the live chat on the official website to book at Shanghai Disney Resort. Only 4 restaurants require advance reservations here.
Official Park Apps
These apps are available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Stores.
Hong Kong Disneyland: Tickets should be linked on the app before reaching the park, though a printed copy is also acceptable as long as the QR code is clear. Your picture will be taken at the gates and linked to the ticket. A refusal to take photo will refuse park entry. Through the app, you can get free standby passes and paid premier access passes. Seeing the crowd before buying premiers is advisable but considering you’ll spend only 2 days in the park, buying premiers may be worthwhile.
Shanghai Disney Resort: Similar to Hong Kong Disneyland, your passport ID and name will be linked to the tickets and your photo will be taken and linked with these details. Remember to bring your original ID to the park as refusal to do so will refuse park entry. Free standby and paid premier passes can be secured via the app. Again, first check the queue before purchasing premier access.
Tokyo Disney Resort: To save time at the park, link your tickets to the app before arrival. Most features of the app only become active when you’re inside the park and have scanned the gates. Once inside, first reserve your free standby and priority passes, request show access, and purchase any available premier access attractions. Although you may be reluctant in paying for access to rides, you will appreciate this idea when you notice the long queues. Stay on top of the return times provided by the app to secure your passes.
