Walt Disney Studio’s Park

Welcome to the Walt Disney Studios Park, located next to Disneyland Paris Park in the Marne-la-Vallée, France.

The park was initially to be named the Disney-MGM Studios Europe but after a re-imagining of creating a unique experience, on March 16th 2002, the Walt Disney Studios Park opened its doors to become the second of the two theme parks at the Disneyland Paris resort in France.

The park is home to a pair of exclusive to Walt Disney Studios Park rides which you’ll not find in any other Disney theme park. Crush’s Coaster, a custom-designed indoor spinning roller coaster, and the Disney/Pixar Cars film themed ride, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, a ride taking the form of an enhanced teacups ride

The park maintains is French connection by representing the Earffel Tower in its water tower installation, similar to one that was installed at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California.

The park is dedicated to show business, themed after the movies and welcomes approximately 5.3 million guests every year making it the third-most visited amusement park in Europe.

Currently a major transformative multi-year expansion project is underway at this park destined to open in phases from 2021 to 2025 and to coincide with the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. In 2018 Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that the cost of the expansion would be €2 billion and will feature new lots based on Marvel, Star Wars and Frozen, all surrounding a new man-made lake.
